Pulled Pork Sandwiches in the Crock Pot

As a mom, this might be one of my favorite recipes ever.  Searching for crock pot meal ideas to help us through baseball season, I came across this gem.  It has all the hallmarks of a “down home” meal – it’s easy, it’s a crowd pleaser, it feeds a large group and will leave you with lunch-time leftovers.  If you’ve been all over the internet and back, looking for a pulled pork recipe, this will be your fave.  Traditional grilling, smoking and roasting pork butts (or shoulders) for pulled sandwich fixin’s leaves the meat dry, in my opinion, and I’ve never been a huge fan of barbeque sandwiches for that very reason.  This recipe gives you a moist, melt in your mouth pork that requires very little additions in the way of sauce.  And whether you prefer the southeastern vinegar BBQ or the western molasses BBQ, you can do either with this recipe.

So grab your cole slaw, your baked beans, your deviled eggs, your pasta and fruit salads, and whip up a simple, hearty meal that your family will rave about!
